Arena - Gladiatrix

(click for full-size)

This pic was done for the Arena contest on the EatPoo art forum. Artists are invited to submit fighters who battle to the death...via a poll voting system. I'll let you know how she gets on, she's up against some awesome art though...it's gonna be tough. Her name is Beatrix Gladiatrix ;)

Check out MailMeArt.com, my envelope made it through!

This was done for the 'Draw My Character' thread over on the EatPoo art forum. Scobot gave me a sketch, and I did the above based on it. Then I did a sketch for the next person in the queue...and so on :)

Plague Doctor

(click for full-size)

Thanks to everyone who has been commenting on my work! I really appreciate it :)

The above image is of a plague doctor, perhaps in the 17th century. I love those face masks they wore for protection...

I got the 'Three Trees Make a Forest' book through my letterbox this morning, so I am very happy! :D It features the artwork of Tadahiro Uesegi, Enrico Casarosa and Ronnie Del Carmen, all big influences on me. The book is pure, delicious eye candy. Yum.
